Mark Description:
The mark consists of a sound. The mark consists of a musical sequence in D Major with a 4/4 time signature at an approximate tempo of 70 beats per minute. The sequence begins with a Reverse SFX for approximately two measures at a volume of pianissimo at the beginning of the first measure and gradually building in volume to fortissimo near the end of the second measure. On the last quarter beat of the second measure an Ambient Synth Pad plays a tonic note, a dominant note, and a ninth note (a stacked fifth) in unison and sustains the chord for two additional measures. At the end of the second measure the Reverse SFX ceases. At the beginning of the third measure a single piano note hit commences and is sustained through the fourth measure. The note is two octaves above the tonic note. Also at the beginning of the third measure a Prepared Bowed Wire plays a mediant note in unison with the single piano note hit and sustains the mediant note through the fourth measure. Additionally, in the third measure a Piano plays a quarter note one octave above the tonic, followed by a quarter note one whole step above the previous note, followed by a half note that is a fifth above (or a dominant of) the first note. This final note is also sustained throughout the fourth measure. The Ambient Synth Pad plays a chord containing the notes D4, A4, and E5 as described above. The single piano hit note is a D6, and the Piano plays in succession a quarter note of D5, a quarter note of E5, and a half note of A5.
