Mark Description:
The mark consists of a red scroll outlined in gold. The center of the scroll contains a circular emblem consisting of a thick white scallop-edged outer ring containing gold lines perpendicular to the circumference surrounding a thick blue ring with the words "AMERICAN" and "LEGION" written in gold at the top and bottom of the ring, respectively, surrounding an even thicker white ring containing the points of a five-pointed star and olive leaves, all in gold, surrounding a thin white ring surrounding a small white circle with the word "US" written in gold.
