The mark consists of The left side of the logo is a compass face surrounded by different sports in place of the directions. North is a Fleur de Lies, south is a bike with an "S" incorporated in it, west a "W" with a person climbing on it, northwest is a runner, northeast is a hiker, southwest is a kayaker, and southeast is a person spiking a volleyball over a net. In the center of the compass is the compass needle. The top have of the needle is incorporated as part of the letter "L" for the word Louisville which extends out to the right.
