The program consists of monthly seminars, group discussions, field trips, and retreats that address various issues of importance in Cheatham County. The sessions create a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of topics of interest. Each participant is involved in the development of a group project that culminates with a project presentation by the class. The program offers individuals the opportunity to become involved and to make a positive impact in Cheatham County. Purpose: To identify current and future community leaders with diverse backgrounds for the purpose of educating and motivating individuals committed to community service. Objectives: To enhance individual leadership skills, abilities, and community knowledge. To foster a free exchange of ideas and concern. To develop a positive, cohesive community image. To foster attitudes of increased commitment, cooperation and participation within our community for a long-term benefit of Cheatham County
