Mark Description:
The mark consists of Stylized capital large, shaded, letters "ARA" in the background, on the left side of the mark. The middle of the mark contains the words "American Romanian Academy" in outlined letters, under said words, "of Art and Sciences" is left justified. A line runs across the middle of the mark. Said line underlines "ARA" and runs in the background of "American", dips diagonally at approximately the letter "e", and underlines the rest of "American Romanian Academy". Said line disappears in the background of the remainder of the images. The right side of the mark contains a parallelogram cut out of an American flag followed by a parallelogram cut out of a Romanian flag placed on its side. In the foreground overlapping the Romanian flag parallelogram are the letters "ARA" stylized to resemble a circle.
