The trademark consists of an imprint depicting the wording FERRARI 499P in fancy characters, the 499P component being larger is size and with the numeral 4 having the upper end flat, the two 9 numerals having the right-hand end of the central horizontal stroke pointed and directed toward the corresponding vertical stroke, the letter P constituted by a first, mixed line defining the vertical stroke and the eye, the latter being open and interrupted at a second, broken line having a vertical stroke and a horizontal stroke protruding into the aforesaid eye, the verbal component FERRARI being placed above the numeral 4 in a position slightly offset to the left and, partially, above the following numeral 9, the letter F having the upper stroke extending to surmount the remaining letters except for the final letter I which is surmounted by a small quadrilateral figure, the base of the final letter I being flanked on the right by a horizontal straight line that extends to surmount the underlying 99P component.
